Plein Air Landscape Painting Workshops

Join us for an oil painting retreat in the gloriously beautiful Scottish Highlands. Our series of Landscape Painting in Oils Courses will teach you how to paint En Plein Air—from life and on location in the outdoors.

Catering to all skill levels, our classes are designed as hands-on workshops in which you’ll learn traditional, academic landscape painting techniques. Principal Instructor, Lee Craigmile, will break the methodology down into clear, simple stages which build upon each other to teach you the foundations of the craft. You will learn via lectures, comprehensive demonstrations, and individually tailored critiques as you create your own painting in the field. And you will meet other oil painting enthusiasts in the process!
